I received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where I was the solo chair clarinetist in the Troy University "Sound of the South" band. I have taught instrumental music in public schools in Georgia and Tennessee, and continue to teach private music lessons.
I began arranging music in the seventh grade when I arranged a popular music composition. During my senior year in high school, I composed an original composition which was performed by my band at our spring concert. After graduating from Troy University, I continued writing and arranging, mostly for marching band.
